Material Requirements for Valve 4120000448/4120005063 (ZL50G)
Body/Seat Material:
ASTM A276 Type 420 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 45–50.
Stem/Spring:
Stem: 17-4PH precipitation-hardened steel (H900 condition).
Spring: ASTM A313 302 stainless, stress-relieved at 250°C.
Surface Treatments:
Electroless nickel plating (5–8μm) for corrosion resistance.
PTFE seals rated for -30°C to 200°C.
Pressure Integrity:
Hydrostatic test at 35MPa with ≤0.1ml/min leakage.
Wear Resistance:
Valve seat: Laser-clad Stellite 6 overlay (0.3mm min).
Rejection Criteria:
Cracks >0.2mm (dye penetrant test).
Hardness deviation >3 HRC from spec.
