Material Selection:
Housing: Extruded 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with 2.5 mm wall thickness.
Media: Synthetic glass-fiber layer (16889 Grade βₓ≥200) bonded to stainless steel mesh (0.1 mm aperture).
Forming:
CNC lathe-turned housing with 0.05 mm concentricity tolerance. Laser-cut threads for seal compatibility.
Pleating:
Automated zigzag pleating (32 folds/meter) increases surface area to 0.8 m². Heat-cured at 150°C for structural stability.
Valve Integration:
Install spring-loaded bypass valve (activation at 300±10 kPa) and nitrile anti-drainback flap.
Sealing:
Compression-molded FKM gasket ( 3601 Class B) applied with 25 N·m torque during cap assembly.
Testing:
Burst pressure tested at 1.5 MPa. Flow rate validated at 30 L/min (ΔP ≤ 20 kPa).
Surface Treatment:
Electrophoretic coating (20 μm) followed by 120-hour salt spray resistance test.
