Starter Spares (P/N: 860303158, 860165245, 1000210294) Installation Guide
Preparation: Disconnect battery terminals (negative first) to prevent electrical hazards.
Removal: Unbolt old starter using 14mm socket; detach wiring harness (note terminal positions).
Cleaning: Scrape debris from mounting flange with wire brush. Apply anti-corrosion spray.
Installation:
Align new starter (P/N: 860303158) with flywheel; hand-tighten M12 bolts.
Torque bolts to 45 N·m in cross pattern).
Wiring: Connect solenoid using insulated terminals. Ensure no pinched cables.
Testing: Reconnect battery; test cranking (≥250 RPM). Verify no abnormal noise/vibration.
Warnings:
Use dielectric grease on terminals to prevent oxidation.
Replace stripped bolts immediately.
